Women & Family Practice · Vietnam
Social Athena is the women & family practice of Athena CM — part of the Admicro / VCCorp ecosystem. We publish aFamily.vn, run its fanpage, and hold standing partnerships with the mom communities where Vietnamese parents actually make up their minds. Then we build the campaign that lands inside them.
01 · On screen
Two campaign films we wrote, produced and ran end to end — one that founded this practice a decade ago, one that gave an imported product a place at the Vietnamese Tết table.
Yamaha · International Women's Day
The campaign that founded our women & family practice — and the first agency-led work in Vietnam to enter the Top Buzzmetrics ranking.
Watch on YouTube ↗O'Food · Tết campaign
A Korean sauce brand, localised into Vietnamese Tết: ward loudspeakers, a simmering pot of braised pork, and a Gen Z lead against a retro family home.
Watch on YouTube ↗02 · What we own
Most agencies assemble this per campaign by buying from third parties. We hold it as inventory, which is why we can move in days rather than weeks and price below the market for the same footprint.
03 · The community network
Each block below is a partnered group, sized by membership. Together they are the room where a Vietnamese mother asks whether your product is worth her money — and gets an answer from someone she believes.
A message lands in a mom community when it comes from someone the group trusts — a resident expert, an admin, or a mother the audience already follows. Here, MC Hương Giang of "Gia đình truyền hình" for Dr.Papie, whose launch we ran through this same network.
Read the aFamily feature ↗How it runs
Content is delivered through admins, key members and resident experts. The brand enters an existing conversation instead of interrupting one — which is the difference between a comment thread and a scroll-past.
The format set
Live and Zoom workshops, minigames and contests, Q&A and quiz sets, surveys, and UGC review chains from key members — run continuously rather than in one burst.
Proof it converts
Global policy forbade paid seeding. We ran the Tết campaign through student, office-worker and mom communities instead — and delivered 1.5–2× the qualified conversation of a standard buy.
04 · Owned fanpage & TikTok network
Every channel below is owned and run inside the VCCorp ecosystem — aFamily at the centre, surrounded by news, lifestyle and shopping channels that let one campaign travel from a mom's feed to the whole household's.
05 · Events & offline
Online reach persuades; a room full of mothers converts. We hold working partnerships with the country's major mom & baby events, and we run our own recurring workshop property.
Partner event · Vietbaby Fair
The international trade fair for the maternity and infant category — hundreds of Vietnamese and global brands, timed to the Children's Day season. We place client brands on the floor and wrap the appearance in publisher, community and KOL coverage, before, during and after.
Client event · KidsPlaza
The flagship annual festival of a 160+ store retail chain, in its 10th edition under the theme we wrote — "Cùng con vươn mình". We took the repositioning brief for its Gen Z mom audience and won it on the first pitch.
Our own property
Our own recurring workshop series with aFamily and the community network. Born as the platform for Vietnamese Family Day — seven days a week a woman spends on everyone else, so she needs an eighth for herself. The launch asked "What is your mother's or your wife's dream?" and answered it with a Min & Erik music video, 15 real stories, and two workshops for 100 women.

06 · Solutions
Each of these was developed against a real brief in the women & family space and has run to result. They compose into a single funnel — awareness through community trust through checkout.
Community
Two-way brand-to-consumer programmes designed and run across the partnered community network, online to offline, on a continuous rhythm rather than a campaign burst.
Partnership
The brand borrows aFamily's standing instead of buying reach. Two products sit under it — one on the page, one on the ground.
Creative tech
Microsite-based contests built on generative AI — personalised music, visuals, filters and AR — that turn a brand message into something the user makes and shares. Amplified across the VCCorp page network.
Always-on
Social-first channel management: content built from what the platform's users already care about, with the brand entering natively. Includes brand-owned group building and moderation.
Commerce
High-volume conversion-optimised review video, produced fast and paired with TikTok's GMV Max automated bidding to put the best-performing asset in front of the right buyer.
Commerce
Access to VCCorp's livestream slate with partner networks and top-tier hosts around the peak retail moments — Mid-Autumn, 20/10, Black Friday, 12/12 and Tết.
Commerce
Standing up and running the brand's own Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop presence — identity, algorithm optimisation, platform KAM relationship, conversion tuning and reporting.
Content ops
AI-assisted production that gets the brand onto trending topics quickly, personalises the cut per audience segment, and cuts both production cost and media waste.
Distribution
A competitive selling programme for brands with a dealer network, run with the Vietnam Advertising Association and the Anti-Counterfeit Centre. 2,000+ contestants generate reviewable brand assets at scale.
Distribution
A six-week mentored programme that turns distributors and sales staff into channel operators with their own audience — 1-to-1 mentoring, weekly KPIs, real practice.
Market entry
For brands arriving in Vietnam: product concept and positioning for the local market, regulatory and licensing support, bilingual account servicing, and direct pitching to global headquarters.
Production
TVC and AI TVC, mutex, viral clips, animation, comic series, AR and VR — produced in-house and localised for Vietnamese cultural context rather than subtitled from a global master.
07 · How it fits together
A Vietnamese mother moves through a predictable sequence before she buys infant nutrition. Each stage has a different question and a different trusted voice — so each gets a different asset. This is the model we ran for Kabrita.
Baby has digestive trouble. She asks family and friends, and starts reading.
Reads articles and shared posts, books a clinic visit, keeps reading.
Goat milk enters the consideration set. She wants the reasoning, not the claim.
She seeks out mothers in the same situation and weighs their verdicts.
Buys in-store, on the marketplace or in a live session — whichever is in front of her.
08 · Selected work
Dutch, Japanese, Korean, Swiss and Vietnamese brands — dairy and nutrition entrants, category creators and incumbents defending share. For a dairy brand weighing Vietnam, start with Kabrita.
Market entry · under 2 months to result
Kabrita launched in May 2025 — the month Vietnamese authorities broke a large-scale counterfeit milk operation and every new formula brand inherited public suspicion. We held the plan together with legal and licensing support, expert-led credibility content, and a market-sensitive phasing that moved from quiet trust-building to full commerce activation as sentiment recovered.
The brand requested renewal mid-campaign, committing over VND 1bn for the following quarter — and stock ran out twice after our livestream sessions.

Meiji had awareness but not understanding — consumers knew the name without knowing the product stood for comprehensive nutrition. We rebuilt the content system around Gen Z and millennial mothers under the idea "With Meiji, parenting made easy", and grew a brand-owned community alongside the page.
Ad orders delivered 1.2–1.5× KPI. Meiji has renewed with us every year since.
Read the full case study →Category creation and launch
A first-of-its-kind product entering a market with no awareness and no existing behaviour. Rather than fight established categories, we found the positioning gap — plaque, not sweets, is the direct cause of early tooth decay — and built a "wake-up moment" campaign around it, pairing broad social reach with expert-led education on aFamily and medical channels.
Repositioning · Festival Mẹ Bầu & Em Bé, 10th edition
The client's own brief aimed at Gen Z mothers but spoke in national-scale abstractions. We pushed back: Gen Z mothers don't want to raise a great figure, they want to grow alongside their child. We kept the client's "Building the future" spirit and re-grounded it as "Rising together with my child", then built the MomZ Leader community figure around it.
Won on the first pitch, against a demanding client with a strong in-house team and a limited budget.
Product marketing and go-to-market
A 1917-founded multinational with a small local marketing team, no consistent messaging line and no integrated campaign history in Vietnam. We wrote the product concept and marketing story from scratch, built the go-to-market around LAC-SHIELD™ postbiotics as the single owned USP, and activated through emerging channels.
Tết campaign · "What more could I wish for than this moment together"
Nestlé's global policy prohibits paid seeding, and the brand needed genuine data — not inflated buzz — to steer a long-term message platform. We replaced seeding with community marketing: the message went directly to student, office-worker and mom groups through their own admins, and the contest collected real user submissions.
AI Music Contest · Tết
A Korean pasta sauce fighting for share in a market that only knew one use for it. We reframed the product as an everyday family cooking sauce and built an AI music microsite that composed a personalised song from each user's name, ingredients and wished-for Tết — then asked them to cook to it on TikTok.
International Women's Day campaign · 8 March 2016
The campaign that founded our women & family practice. For 8/3 we had a motorcycle brand — a category that talks almost exclusively to men — speak to Vietnamese women through the men who love them, under the line "For the woman I love". It proved the insight engine this whole page is built on: win her heart and the household follows, whatever the product.
AI Contest · "Cùng A.I giải mã đa tầng hương — đa tầng tính cách"
Fabric care is bought on habit and fought on price. We built an AI contest that read a woman's layered character from the fragrance she chose — Sang Chảnh, Ngọt Ngào, An Nhiên — turning a softener into something she wanted to publish about herself. Admicro owned the idea, the consultancy, the execution and the committed KPI.

10 · The opportunity
1.56 million babies are born in Vietnam every year — the highest rate of households with children in Southeast Asia. Category revenue keeps climbing while the number of sellers falls. Trust, not budget, is what decides who takes the difference.
Behaviour
Vietnamese parents consume at least two to three review or advisory pieces before trying an unfamiliar product. Safety, ingredients and certification outrank price.
Behaviour
A discussion inside a community group can reverse a purchase decision that was already made. The group — not the ad — is the last touchpoint before checkout.
The gap
The insight is widely published; the execution isn't. Most media plans still report reach and engagement, and never measure which conversation actually moved the decision.
Five questions worth answering
These are the questions we open every conversation with. They are also the ones most plans in this category cannot answer.
Start here
Whether you're entering Vietnam for the first time, defending share against a local challenger, or creating a category that doesn't exist yet — the first conversation is about which rooms your buyer is already in, and what she'd need to hear in them.
